What is Rediff Blogshowcase?

Rediff Blogshowcase is a platform for bloggers to showcase their blogs to a large group of readers and get instant feedback on their blog posts. It will provide traffic to the showcased blogs on a regular basis and the opportunity to be recognized for the blogs if they are voted for by the readers. It allows readers and bloggers to connect with each other, share views, articles and information.

We hope to make Rediff Blogshowcase a one stop place for bloggers to gauge their standing in the Indian blogosphere and also to connect with like minded bloggers and readers.

And for the readers, the Blogshowcase will be a space where they can find a wide range of content from the best blogs all in one place. The blogposts in ‘Top Stories’ are displayed in order of the readers’ ratings. The readers can vote, comment, mark their favorites and share the blogposts with their friends.

How do I showcase my blog on Rediff Blogshowcase?

1) User signs up for Rediff Blogshowcase
The blog URL & blog feed URL is submitted ( Click here to know how to find your blog feed URL)

2) The user is then directed to the claim page, where the claim code is provided. This code has to be embedded into the user’s blog for claiming the blog.(This step is optional but important as when you claim your blog by embedding the code, the system immediately accepts your feed as you are an authentic blogger. If you DONT claim your blog then your feed is sent to the admin queue where the Blogshowcase team approves it .)

3) And finally, the profile page is updated. This completes the process.

4) Every time the user’s blog is updated, it gets automatically updated on Blogshowcase too. The user also gets updates on every action that happens on Blogshowcase like votes and comments received etc.
